Sonic

We have only won 1 T-Ball game so far this season. It doesn't really bother Aaron and I, nor Christian. He has fun, and that's what matters. Our Coach is great-always encouraging our children and telling them they did a great job. After another loss he treated the team to ice cream at our local Sonic. It was crazy that night! All of the other teams that played that night (and won) were also getting ice cream. It was fun!

Easter

Easter morning and day...

Watching a puppet show at the Church egg hunt.

We colored white, tan, and brown eggs-a little different for us.

Easter was great! This year the boys were able to have a better grasp of the true meaning of Easter, and it's fun to discuss with them

They had some seriously cute Easter outfits that Momma Beth purchased for them, however there are no pictures to prove that. That Sunday morning was a little extra crazy with baskets and such, and I totally failed at getting a picture or two before running out the door for Church. I assure you, Momma Beth, that I will stick them back in those little man suits and snap away.

They were hot, itchy, and uncooperative in the images above-post nap. There's not a single picture that everyone had a real smile while looking at the camera, but you know what - that's cheesy and unrealistic for our family. This is how it is; antsy little boys who are distracted by bugs, grass, and sticks. I wouldn't have it any other way!

More T-Ball

About to kill the ball! Our little slugger!

Gotta go pee on third base.

Overcame the urge and got ready to kick it into high gear!

The "Good Game" line up.

Between games we had pizza and cake pops (I think that's what they are called). It was a good opportunity to hang out with team mates and just play. After pizza, Christian started playing tackle with the biggest kid on the team - funny guy. They rolled around in the grass and then everyone found a big puddle to throw stuff in. It was nice to get to talk with the parents and coaches as well.

I just had to take this picture of Jack during the ball game - content, as usual. Thank you Lord...

It's official, we now live at the ball fields. We are there quite often. No, I'm not complaining, just stating the facts. Christian is still enjoying T-Ball and his team. We have only won one game but the kids are having a real blast which for me, that's all that matters. I don't even think he cares whether he wins or not, just as long as he has fun. Normally I am an over the top competitive person, but it's different when it's your children. I want him to have fun with it all. Last Saturday he started hitting pitches. I think he only had to use the Tee one time throughout both games! We were very proud and Aaron is good about showering him with praises and telling him how awesome he is.

Work Ethic

Christian is a worker. "Mommy, do you have a job for me?" He asks me this about 968 times a day. He is always happy to work, and happy to help. I can count on him to stay on task until his job is complete. Once he vacuumed the office for me and I noticed he was taking the time to do the baseboards, window sills, and under the computer table. Man, I was super impressed. Naturally outside work is his favorite. He like to use his strength and pick up heavy rocks and moves them from one place to another. Right now he and Ben are helping Daddy build a chicken coop - lots of hammering and nails and heavy lifting, right up his alley! I can easily see him turning into a work-a-holic.

Ben is more like me. He works hard for about 5 minutes and then looses interest, or notices an airplane flying by and the next thing you know he has stopped working and is playing airplane, then stumbles over something, gets hurt, goes inside and starts to color, but only for a minute because then he remembers that Christian worked on building a tower of blocks in the other room and Big brother is nowhere is site so he quickly morphs into Ben the Destroyer....you get my drift. He does have a hard time being still and focused. I hope he grows out of this, I don't think I ever did. Have you ever read "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" - it's very Ben.

Yippee!!! We will have blueberries soon! Our first year for them, if the birds don't get them first!

We (I mean "I")have never had much luck with these seed starters in the past. When you water them too much they get moldy - who knew! The boys planted these. I had to thin them out a lot. They put 10 seeds in each with much enthusiasm. I have tried hard not to drown them, and look; they're GROWING! We haven't determined if they are peppers or tomatoes. They planted both, and we used popsicle stick markers, but they mysteriously disappeared. I am leaning towards tomatoes, but we'll see soon enough!

Just Stuff

I just love tulips. Aren't they pretty! These are planted all around Beth's drive. Our little Ben picked about 4 of them for me. Yikes! Thanks sweetie, but we probably shouldn't pick these.

Just Eat 'em Up!

He He, sideways smile.

In Grandma's lap, holding Poppy's hand.

So I picked up my camera and just started taking pictures. Little did I know that it was on some weird aperture setting and not the norm. It made the pictures a little "grainy" and strange....my bad, but I'm posting them anyway!!!

Chubs

Chubster

Jack-A-Roo

Wolf Pack Jack

Just a few nicknames...Chub-Chub is probably the most frequently used. We are enjoying this little one. We went to the Doctor for his 2 month Well Baby visit and he weighed in at a whopping 13.6lbs! Whoa! Not what I was expecting. 90% on the charts. Again, a little surprising. My other boys were always so small. A few things about Jack; he like to eat, sleep, and smile. That pretty much wraps him up. Ha ha. He is super easy going like Christian. His cry is more like a scream, like Ben. He definitely favors Christian's looks, which ultimately will favor Daddy. He just belongs.... Our family is busy, and he happily goes with the flow. What a sweet blessing.

This is his first game-not very good pictures, sorry.

Watching Big Brother is exhausting.

Throwing the ball in. Whew, what an arm. :)

Practice game. Hanging out on third.

Ben has on his helmet too...just in case.

Christian is playing T-Ball this year. Oh, it is too cute! His team is called "The River Bandits." He really likes it and has learned a lot about baseball. It is surprising how good a bunch of 4-6 year olds can really do. I'm proud of this little guy. He is big stuff.
