LuLu and ZooZoo

LuLu is here! Oh, how we love our LuLu! This is Monkey and Tinkers' Great Grandmother. She is so sweet. She always comes bearing gifts, plus she is an amazing cook and the entire family gains 10 pounds per LuLu visit. We went to the Zoo today. Check out the wart hog. Man! That is the ugliest thing I have ever seen! The kids were pooped. They fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot. I think LuLu and I would have done the same if we could've.

This is fun! The kids went crazy! Free inflatables, EVERYWHERE! This is just an event one of our neighboring towns put on. I did the signage for them, so I thought it only right to attend, and I'm glad I did. Later that evening we went to our Sunday School "social" down at the lake. I convinced Super Daddy to jump in and slowly ease the kids in the water. Ha! Who was I kidding! Monkey wouldn't have anything to do with the water, and Tinker screamed bloody murder when Daddy finally got him in. Seriously, that kid can bust eardrums. The kitty pool, however, was a hit, as you can see. All in all, it was a fun filled day!

CHHHHEEEEEEESSSSEEEE!!!

Monkey has started yelling, often. I told him to say "Cheese, " and so he did, except he turned up the volume a little. Can you see the strain on his face? That's how loud he was!

What a funny child he is. He is just like he Daddy, a comedian, and always smiling.

His hair just keeps getting lighter and lighter, but he is still a cutie!

My Worst Enemy

Who would have thought my brave Little Guy would dislike the really cool ball sprinkler thingy so much? He did, though. I mean, he just despised it! His big brother love it. Just a small reminder of how different these little boys can be.

Crawfish

Aw man, this was interesting. We went to the Premier Party for this movie that my husband is in-The Dark Place. It's a Christian film that our church funded. I knew there would be a shrimp boil but I didn't know about the crawfish OR raw oysters. It was interesting. I am use to seeing lobster being cooked (I'm from Florida) but I didn't know that you did crawfish the same way which is basically dumping them into boiling water-alive. It wouldn't have been a big deal if my husband hadn't of put too many in at one time and caused the pot to over flow. It was sort of funny, because all of the men immediately hit the ground, on their hands and knees, scrambling to pick up these fiesty crawfish that knew they were about to face their doom. I tried one, only so I wouldn't look like a total wimpy girl. It was gross. Nothing like lobster. Never again.

Art in the Park

This is a great event that a neighboring town puts on. There are all of these artistic people who have boothes or stations for the kids to walk right up to and start creating. Everything is for free-that's my favorite part! It took the kids a long time to warm up to the atmosphere, but it was fun. Monkey really got into playing with the clay. I didn't get any pictures of Tinker because he was being super bashful, no surprise-he doesn't like crowds.

Little Friend

We found this feline in our basement. It found its way in and couldn't get out. It woke me up one morning just HOWLING away. For those of you that don't know, I really DO NOT like cats! For some strange reason my heart went out to this one, despite the fact it woke me up out of my morning time comma. So...I cracked open a can of tuna and some milk, set it outside, and said GOOD BYE! Five seconds later, it was howling again at the door (I knew I shouldn't have been so nice to it). Anyways, long story short, I found it's rightful owner and hopefully will never see it again. Tinker on the other hand was obviously loving this little creature. He carefully watched its every move. Hmmm...maybe I can talk Daddy into getting a puppy for him instead.

Randomness

It's been a while since I have posted anything. Times are crazy...I'll explain in a later post. These are just some random pictures of my little men. Take note of Little Tinker. Seriously, this sums him up. He is so hot/cold. Once second he is totally ticked off, the next he is giving his brother kisses, and then he playfully throws things (at his brother of course). Do
