Zoo

We are officially members of the Zoo! Oh, I am really looking forward to going back next week. The kids just loved looking at the animals, riding the train, and running around laughing and screaming. It is so nice with the spring weather.

Lots & Lots of EASTER

So many eggs, stained hands, Easter baskets...and so much sugar I am surprised the kids didn't explode. The pictures say it all! Monkey wasn't into the egg hunt as much. Tinker was alllll about it! He was surprisingly good at it, and so cute to watch. Tinker cracked every single egg he touched. We colored 5 dozen eggs and have been eating egg salad and deviled eggs all week. Oh, and I almost forgot about the new addition to the family. (No Mom, I'm not pregnant) I think we are going to name her Bell. She is red headed just like the boys, and a very spunky little guinea pig. She fits right in.

My Little Cutie Pies

Monkey LOVES his new rain coat and boots. As soon as I let him outside he took off and waded through the biggest puddle he could find...then fell in it. Tinker didn't get to play in the rain because I don't have any rain gear for him-bad Mommy. He will get to soon enough. This has been a really perfect spring. It is either Sun Shine Sunny, or Super Rainy. I can't wait to plant my garden. The goal is to get it done this weekend.

The big black dog in the picture is Alice. She is dumb, but we love here. We got her from the humane society hoping she was going to be huge (part dane), but she just looks goofy. Her feet are too big and her disposition is just awkward, and she is super light on her feet which looks totally unnatural for her size. I really had a hard time training her. We had a lab before her, and she was so easy and smart. I guess it spoiled me. I've given up on Alice. We keep her around for the kids. She is really Super Daddy's dog. I don't get it. He really doesn't have a lot of compassion for animals, so you think she would sense that. Like I said, she is dumb.

Notice Tinker's pouty face. I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous he looks sometimes. I wanted to take a picture so I won't forget.

First Prayers

Monkey is becoming so independent now. Instead of Mommy praying, he wants to pray himself. Here is how some of his first prayers went.

Dear God...Thank-You...Mommy...Daddy...Chistan (Christian)....AAAMMMEEENN!!!
(Notice that he left out his little brothers name)

He always says "Amen" the loudest, and he hesitates between each word like he is thinking really hard about what he should say next. Oh, it is just so sweet. (Thanks-You, Lord, for this child and his prayers.)

Warm Day

The water was a little too cool for Tinker, but Monkey was all about it. This is the first decently warm day to get the pool out. Of course a sunny day is not complete without some homemade popsicles. Oh, we just can't wait until summer!

Underwear Hat

This is too funny! Monkey was taking forever on the potty, so I went in to check on him and found him like this. He took his current undies off and made a hat. How creative, and yet disgusting...they were dirty.

Snowy Day

Can you believe this! Ha! What fun we had! All of the adults (including Grandparents) were outside having the biggest snowball fight. They were all so funny. I like the way my Mother-In-Law put it, "We know how to play!" Sweet little Skylar (Monkey's cousin-same age) couldn't seem to hit anyone with a snowball so he just started hurling them at the dog! We did manage to build a massive snowman, but I didn't get a picture of it. :(

Family Fun

Our families came in for the weekend. We had so much fun. Take a look at these three little cousins. They were wild, but had a blast!

Say CHEEEESSEE!!!

Once again I made a pitiful attempt to get some good shots of my boys. The goal was to get a semi decent one to be seen by the entire church this Sunday on a massive projector screen. Our Church is doing their baby dedication ceremony this Sunday. Needless to say, I am the queen of snap shots. So, that's what they get. I'm going to use the one with Tinker's big toothy smile where he is holding his sock monkey. That's Tinker, In all his glory!
