Birthday Party

There are 75 candles on this pecan pie. Super Daddy said that they all represent something that they love about me-how sweet. He also said he could only fit 75 on there. :) You should have seen it. That pie was just glowing. It lit up the whole room! Super Daddy also got me these flowers. It was really a surprise, because he hasn't bought me flowers in years. They were really pretty, as you can see. I got lots of other really great gifts. It was one of my most memorable birthdays ever!

Mom is behind the camera...just in case your wondering.

Sweet Moments

Oh, how I just looooove these moments. Tinker, you have absolutley captured my heart. Monkey, so have you sweetie. You use to cuddle like this with Mommy all the time. I really miss that. I am still so amazed at how fast they go through stages. Tinker thinks that I am just the Greatest & Most Funny human being that ever was. Monkey has already figured out that Super Daddy is really cool too, and that Mommy is just...Mommy. Still funny, and still great, but just not his world anymore. I'm just trying to savor these moment while they last.

This is Tinker's natural hairdo if we just let it dry and style itself. Our little rebel without a cause at such a young age.

See the bumps and bruises? Guys, I promise we
don't beat him.
This is just the way it is when your a
clumsy 2 year old. For those of you that have spent
anytime with him at all, you know just how often this
kid falls, runs into things, and trips on flat ground.
Honestly, FLAT ground. I've never seen anything like
it! His Dad would say he gets it from me. Another
wonderful quality, poor guy.

Momma Beth was the only one that Monkey would actually trust holding him in the pool. Super Daddy and I are just shameful. We like to dunk him and throw him around. He really gets bent out of shape about it.

Innocent Enough. Right? Wrong!

Our sweet little Tinker. Wow! Now this is our handful. It's so bizarre that God created two brothers so very different, but then again, there was Cain and Abel. This is not Cain and Abel, but they couldn't be any more different. Tinker's personality is staight up strong. He laughs hard, cries hard, plays hard, and eats hard. Maybe he takes after his mother. Super Daddy is always saying that I am "passionate" about EVERYTHING. Even still, when this little guy wants to snuggle it will absolutley take your breath away. It's so amazing how much you can love your children, both of them just the same!

Little Helper
Monkey is all about being in the middle of whatever I'm doing. He makes light of the daily stuff : cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc...I wish I could freeze time and just soak up my children. While I was pregnant with him all the other little Mommies would say "Enjoy it, because it goes by fast." I responded with a simple smile and an "I will." Boy did they know what they were talking about! I feel almost desperate to keep them small but then compelled to raise them stong and independent. This is hard stuff. Take one day at a time, right? I'm trying.

Peek-A-Boo Sun

Sun Shine Peek-A-Boo
This was purely luck that I captured the sun right above that sweet little head. This was the day before the hurricane rain came in, and just so you know-it is still here! I can't complain because I remember the terrible drought last year.

Monkey was in the midst of running from me here. See the floaties? We call them "muscles" in this family. He is all about wearing his muscles all day long. It has been raining here for about 3-4 days straight. We haven't been able to go outside, so Monkey has been getting creative inside. He insists on wearing his muscles all the time now. It's kind of impressive how well he can function with those oversized inflatables strapped to his arms. He can even eat lunch in them. We have had a little bit of a cold. Depending on how he feels in a couple of days you may be seeing pictures of him playing outside in the rain, wearing his muscles, naturally.

This won't be the first time that I catch these two being mischievous. Notice that Tinker looks like he is holding on for dear life. That little personality of his just won't let his Big Brother out do him. Monkey is teaching him all of his fun tricks. This, being one of them.
